 We have a brand new litter of blues and blacks born 2/2/13 out of our gorgeous Nisha and very handsome boy Zeus; our own son of Biss Champion Sharcon's Tomahawk! We have 2 black girls, 2 blue girls and 5 black boys! This breeding was carefully considered for the conformation and quality of the bloodlines of the parents and what we feel will be passed on to the puppies. Both Nisha and Zeus come from top bloodlines with Zeus being the son of Biss Champion Sharcon's Tomahawk from Sharcon Danes. His owner, Maureen Clark of Sharcon Danes raised up Tommy to become the #1 Blue Great Dane in AKC history (and he still holds that record to this day!) We are very grateful and extremely proud to be able to continue his incredible bloodline. Zeus is a gorgeous solid blue boy with excellent, correct, conformation and an incredible long neck and a very blocky head!

 Nisha is grandsired by the famous Biss Champion Longo's Millertime who has been one of the top danes in AKC conformation in the country for several years and his offspring are very widely known in the show ring as exceptional examples of the breed. He sired many champions!

The pairing of these two has resulted in nine gorgeous puppies!! Can't wait to see how these kids mature!

Here are a couple of videos featuring Zoe from our current litter. We take great pride in our puppies and feel that lots of attention for the first two months will show throughout the lifetime of your dane! This is the most formative time of their lives and lots of eye contact and interaction builds trust and confidence in the puppies as they learn to bond with humans!

Introducing: Our very own son of Jiri and Clark! Ramses is a 36 inch tall 160 pound boy at only 20 months! He is a son of our beautiful, retired girl Jiri and our handsome boy Clark, son of BISS CHAMPION SHARCON'S TOMAHAWK!

Welcome to our new site!

Home of Champion, top quaity, American AKC and European Great Danes! Occasionally we have Harlequin, Mantle, Blue and Black AKC registered great danes! Our goal is to educate prospective dane owners about the incredible qualities of danes and proper care and training of these gentle giants! We believe in health testing thru OFA (Orthopedic Foundation of America). Certain health tests are recommended for danes including Hips, Elbows, Heart, Thyroid, and Eye Cerf. We are striving to produce the highest quality danes with excellent health, longivety, loving temperaments, and amazing conformation.  

We are in the process of overhauling and improving our old Great View Danes website and will be including new photos and more helpful information! With over a quarter million hits on our old site from viewers like you, we are very excited to be reaching so many dane enthusiasts!  Hopefully, our new improved site will be even more informative and interesting! Thank you to all of you who have followed our danes for over a decade! We hope to have many new and repeat visitors to our new website! INTRODUCING!! A BRAND NEW CHAMPION: Int'l Champion Great View's of the Fontana Di Trevi at BWK, CGC 

Trevi is owned, trained, handled and ADORED by Amber Finkel. Trevi is the son of Great View's Willow Run to Glory ( Willow ) and Thornhill's Prince of Darkeness ( Ozzy ). He is Nisha and Jax's litter mate with the 11 blacks at the top of the page! Trevi is going for it all!! Conformation, Obedience and Agility, not to mention all the clever tricks he is perfecting!!

Now that's what you call "Spooning"! These three Willow babies were randomly posed so sweetly, I just had to steal a photo!! These puppies are from a year ago, but we will have new Willow babies coming soon!!

 

Heartwrenching news!

I must warn anyone who is looking for a harlequin, merle or mantle dane to not trust Sabra's Danes currently owned by Patti Carter Messina:  A few years ago, Sabra Godfrey owned Sabra's Danes and purchased two of Oby's sons from me on contract! Sabra broke the written contract and sold my precious Oby babies to Patti Carter Messina and let Patti take over her website. I have not heard from Sabra since.  Now it has come to my attention that Patti is being charged with animal cruelty and neglect in the case of 19 great danes. UNFORGIVABLE!!! Some were turned over to Animal Control and some were actually dumped over the state line! Since Patti has been breeding, she has bred them constantly and the danes rescued were starving and in very unsanitary conditions. I wanted to make sure that I let anyone interested know that I am NOT affiliated with Sabra's Danes and they have gotten my bloodlines thru criminal means.  I pray the poor danes will first of all survive, and secondly recover, and find loving homes! This is why all breeders should sell only on a spay/neuter contract or else to show homes with an unbreakable contract. I should have insisted on co - owning with Sabra and she couldn't have sold my dogs and this terrible incident would never have happened! I am just sick over it! Oby is a perfect example of the intelligence, and loyal sensitivities that danes inately possess and I cannot imagine what those poor, intelligent creatures have endured at the cruel hands of these dishonest breeders!!!! ANYONE who knows where my stolen boys Tuvock and Tino are located, please let me know. They were on contract for Sabra to return them to me and not resell them under the table to Patti Messina. I will actively be trying to locate them and help in any way I can to make sure justice is served!

UPDATE: BOTH OF MY BOYS WERE LOCATED AND UNFORTUNATELY, OBY'S FIRSTBORN HARLEQUIN SON NAMED TUVOCK PASSED AWAY AT THE HANDS OF THE MESSINA'S BEFORE HE COULD BE RESCUED AND THE SECOND SON OF OBY NAMED MAXIMUS AKA TINO WAS RESCUED AND IS STILL LIVING AT THE RESCUE FACILITY WHERE I WAS TOLD BY THE RESCUE THAT THEY WILL NOT BE RETURNING HIM TO ME OR ADOPTING HIM OUT AS THEY INTEND TO KEEP HIM. I UNDERSTAND THAT HE IS AN AMAZING DOG AND ONE THAT WOULD BE EASY TO FALL IN LOVE WITH. I JUST HOPE AND PRAY THEY WILL GIVE HIM THE LOVE HE NEEDS AND THE ATTENTION HE DESERVES AND IF THEY FIND THAT THEY CAN'T, I WISH HE CAN BE PLACED WITH HIS OWN LOVING FAMILY WHICH IS WHAT I FEEL HE DESERVES!! I TRIED TO GET HIM BACK, BUT SINCE HE HAD CHANGED HANDS FROM THE PERSON I ORIGINALLY SOLD HIM TO NAMED SABRA, IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE. TOO BAD SABRA COULDN'T HAVE HONORED HER CONTRACT TO ME TO NOT PASS MY DANES ON TO ANOTHER PERSON AS BREEDERS!!! PATTY MESSINA AND HER HUSBAND SHOULD NEVER EVER HAVE GOTTEN THEIR HANDS ANY OF MY DANES!!!!

I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY THANKS TO ALL WHO HAD A PART IN ENDING THE TORTURE THE MESSINAS WERE INFLICTING ON DOZENS OF DANES AT THEIR HOME/KENNEL! I WANT TO SAY AGAIN THAT FULL REGISTRATION IS TO BE GIVEN VERY RARELY AND WITH MUCH THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING FOR THESE BABY DANES OR ANY OTHER BREED OF PUPPY FOR THAT MATTER! BREEDING IS NOT EASY AND IT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE WHO OFFERS MORE MONEY! SO MANY BREEDERS NEVER EVEN THINK ABOUT OFFERING LIMITED REGISTRATION TO THEIR PUPPY BUYERS! I HOPE THIS STORY WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
